It is based in a personal theory of concept, which implies placing in the background the artistic support for it. The fact that the chosen support is music is not neutral. Based in the animal and instinctive idea that dwells in human beings we arrived to the conclusion that music, being the most abstract of arts, is at the same time the more biological of artistic supports. It is the only one that can invade and fill spaces; music floods, the same as water does. RAWNESS, STATICISM, CONTINUITY. Are common elements in Mupa, at least for the time being, Mupa is also subject to evolution, in this case to the evolution of ideas.releases

Damián Schwartz, is an electronic music artist based in Madrid, Spain, he is also the man behind mupa, an electronic music label created as the support of schwartz´s concepts.The concept as the most important matter in his universe: images, ideas and sensations giving shape to the concept, and the music as the courier of that message, filling the space as the water fills everything on its route. Schwartz delivers to us music with soul. music that in our mind is revealed in a being who thinks and mutates for if same... Raw secuences, daily samples, strong patterns, frantic rhythms, innovation, inspiration…

Jorge Savoretti's (also known as George S) first flirtings with electronic music started in 1993 when he discovered this music at underground rave events. Since then the Argentinian artist has developed a musical style that ensembles techno and house music with an exquisite taste, where the more minimal elements acquires a clear prominence, at the time that they are combined with vigorous sounds of Chicago and Detroit.

Experimentation and investigation have always been essential in Tadeo’s personal world. His vision of the techno and electronic music leaves the common thing: leaning on technology, he creates imaginative and impossible sessions through the standard use of two plates and a mixer, but always reinventing them with the help of samplers and fx, passing from minimal to the hardest techno, and returning again in a utterly different journey: an entire unique experience, result of his passion and an endless dedication, re-codifying languages and ideas.

Just magnificent. Pilas started his career as a dj in 1997 with a sound that is a mix between Detroit and Cologne. In 1999 he met Thomas Hartweger (boss of the Austrian label Pomelo), with whom he realized a European tour that stressed his German influence. By that time, tired of the traditional techno sounds, he initiated a stylistic draft towards pop music. However in 2002, when he was fed up with the pop music possibilities, Pilas returned to submerge in the most electronic side of dance music. In those days, he knew Ricardo Villalobos (and even today he’s the international dj with whom he has shared cabin with the most). 2002 is also the year of his first productions. Four years later, he delivered his first track in collaboration with Damián Schwartz on Múpa, his entry into Net28 family.

Mensico? Who is Mensico? Many people thought Damián Schwartz had gone mad when he decided that Múpa's fourth reference would serve to introduce Mensico. He had found the most eccentric couple of the city and invited them to make their début on his label. No more clues. You just need to know that behind this mysterious tandem there are two of the best djs of the capital. Mensico has managed to intoxicate us with the most elegant, deep and visceral techno that has been heard in a long time. Just with a few elements in the right place, these guys have manufactured authentic anthems for the dance floor, with a dizzy garb and insolence. Hypnotic and delirious, not suitable for cowards.
